The Meadows Holiday Club

Holiday Club runs during all school holidays between 8am and 6pm. We also offer half day and short-day sessions and the Club caters for children from the age of 4 up to the age of 11.

Please be aware children must have attended school for a half term before they can join the holiday club sessions. We can accommodate younger children within the nursery during school holidays if required.

All our holiday club staff are carefully selected through our vetting ad suitability check procedure.

We ensure all activities are adapted so that all children no matter what age and stage of development can join in have fun and socialise with like minded friends old and new.

The holiday club operates from two dedicated classrooms on the Kiddlywinks The Meadows site. To ensure older children feel that the Club represents their age, we have ensured that they have their own designated entrance and exit area. There is always a variety of activities on offer which promote life skill development such as cooking, basic first aid and safe cycling skills.

We do have planned activities however we are aware, as you are, that this is your children’s holiday and we aim to make their time with us as safe and fun as possible without being too structured. The children will also have access to our amazing outdoor learning and exploration meadow where they can play team games, cook outside, den build and let off plenty of natural energy. We encourage children to engage in our river walk experiences and through our partnership with Rheged we are able to access the cinema, some of the expeditions and their amazing outside play area.

There is an option of bringing a healthy packed lunch or you can purchase freshly made meals for your child. Please contact us for all enquiries, viewings and for up to date prices.
